Our focus in this area is on working with innovators that are developing or adopting such new or existing alternative products, services, materials, and methodologies across all industries. NAMs
It’s an acronym with many definitions, including New Approach Methods, New Alternative Methodologies, Novel Alternative Methodologies, and Non-Animal Methods, all essentially representing the same thing: a pathway towards the eventual replacement of animal experimentation and testing. And like its many definitions, NAMs include a myriad of exciting new cruelty-free opportunities.
Chip Technology
Organ-on-chip, multi-organ-on-chip, body-on-chip, lab-on-chip, and other chip technologies that will lead to truly personalized precision medicine applications, not just for people, but multiple animal species, in addition to advancing cruelty-free methodologies.
Bioengineering
Tools, methods and breakthroughs that reproduce organ architecture and function in vitro, and include human and animal based cell cultures, models, and test systems, organoids, Microphysiological systems, spheroids, 3D organotypic cultures, advanced cellular models, microfluidics, cell-based assays, and many more that enable a much more precise and targeted species-specific cruelty-free research.
Hardware
3D Bioprinters and other technology that can generate cells, tissues, and organs for a wide spectrum of uses, such as growing healthier and more sustainable food, for cruelty-free research, development and testing, and ultimately to generate organs for transplantation.
Cellular Agriculture and Biofabrication
Cruelty-free technologies and solutions to grow agricultural products instead of using livestock, such as: growing meats and other animal products like dairy, eggs, and gelatin for consumption; and producing animal-derived biomaterials such as collagen, leather, spider silk, and fur for clothing, accessories, furniture, cosmetics, and other uses.
Enablers
Bioreactors, scaffolding, bioinks, tissue engineering and other technologies and solutions that enable and support the development and production of superior cruelty-free alternatives across multiple industries in a wide range of applications.

Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, big data collection and sharing, and other computer science and in-silico solutions that not only have the potential to fundamentally transform many fields, including healthcare and life sciences, but also provides cruelty-free alternatives.

There are a number of existing, or freshly minted business structures around the world that enable venture philanthropy, fully sustainable charity, or for-profit / non-profit hybrid enterprises and structures. These include benefit corporations, L3Cs, community interest companies, and other forms of social enterprises, with many more on the horizon. Most of them share and are based on some or multiple guiding principles of Positive Impact Enterprise (PIE).

Customized Approach
We don't use cookie cutters. From a short advisory role to a full-on partnership, we consider each of our engagements unique. So is our participation and compensation. Each is negotiated based on the type, length, and complexity of each engagement, and may include either, or a combination of, equity, consulting fees, commissions, or other types of compensation.
Multiplying Impact
We are committed to the PIE sharing model, including taking on select pro-bono projects. This also means that a significant percentage of any compensation we earn from your engagements will go towards accelerating the transition to a cruelty-free, environmentally friendly, and sustainable future for generations to come.
