Humble Alliance is founded and led by Katrina Koop, a multidisciplinary leader with experience spanning finance, media, healthcare, technology, and impact investing, with deep expertise in animal‑alternative methods (NAMs), ethical innovation, and impact investing. She serves as a voting member of the FNIH Complement-ARIE NAMs Validation and Qualification Network (VQN) Steering Committee, where she helps shape regulatory acceptance of Non-Animal Methods (NAMs, also known as Novel Approach Methodologies) across all regulatory fields and improve human relevance in biomedical research, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and healthcare. She is well recognized for her contributions to ethical innovation, impact investing, and sustainability.
With a background in venture development and impact investing, Katrina brings a unique lens to innovation ecosystems, bridging science, policy, and capital to drive scalable change. Katrina has held executive and advisory roles across venture capital (VC) funds, venture studios, accelerators, private equity (PE) firms, and global enterprises, including Aurora Forge Venture Studio and Venture Fund, World Technology Group, RoyalBlue Holdings, Crescent Green Energy Fund, Aspire Ventures, Tatry Capital, Charmed Technology, and First Commercial Venture Capital.
